Robotz Rolling By Birthday Card

Hi, I made another card that I wanted to share:
Cricut Robotz Happy Birthday Card
It's a Z Fold card that opens up to this:
The image is from Robotz, the "Have a Happy Birthday" is from Pooh Font, I like that the letters are large, and the "rolling by to say' is from Plantin Schoolbook. I added ribbon behind the robot to give him a little more texture.

I found lots of challenges to enter into this week, maybe with more entries I'll have a better chance of winning something :-)

and Peachy Keen's Color Inspiration Challenge - which looks like this:

Wish me luck! And thanks for stopping by :-)

Simple HB2U Card

I just wanted to share this quick and simple Happy Birthday card I made for a few challenges:
I want to enter it into Crafty Cat's Stripes or Checks Challenge, Do You Stack Up's Stripes Challenge, and Paper Playtime's Birthday Challenge.
I had used Cricut's Life's a Party Cartridge for the HB2U and Opposites Attract for the sentiment.

New Baby Card & Big Sister Card

Hi, so today I made a couple cards for my brother since he and his wife are expecting soon

Firstly I made a little car card to match their car's room theme.  I used up some of the ribbon that I've collected over the years to make the pull string and cover up the cut out section the car slides on, it bunches up to reveal the word "Vroom." Both that and the "Start Your Engines" are from Disney's Cars Cartridge.

And then on the pull out section I cut "A New Boy is Coming to Town" out of the font on A Child's Year.
And then the inside:
I'm going to enter this card into Paper Sundae's Anything Goes Challenge and Ribbon Carousel's Color Challenge.

Next, I made a Big Sister Card for their little girl.  I know she likes Yo Gabba Gabba and I found some cute cuts from Lady Wolfe's Free SVG site that I cut using Make the Cut Software.
And then I put Foofa on the inside:
I was going to enter this card in My Craft's Spot Make it Pop Challenge (I tried to make the characters stand out) and Paper Pretties a Card for Girls Challenge.

Domo Arigato

Hello! This is my very first post.  I had surgery on my leg yesterday, they trimmed a couple of extra bones off so today I'm just relaxing, laying down with my leg elevated.  I wanted to use this time to set up my very own blog :-) Now I can keep in touch with my sister a little easier - Hey Marcie!
I just wanted to share a card I made with the Cricut Robotz cartridge.  I saw the idea for this at Courtney Lane's blog.  I love this song and it's been stuck in my head ever since.  I added several things to my card - a little fold in front that says "domo" when opened and I tried to make the inside fancy too.

I also made this blog so I could link up some of my cards to a few challenges.  I made this one for the Clear It Out Challenge for their Karoake Challenge, My Mum's Craft Shop for a card based on your favorite song, and since this is my favorite project I've made so far I'm entering it into Getting Cricky's Favorite Project Challenge.
